Single Vineyard Semillon 2022
Straight Semillon; straight-up delicious. Hand-picked fruit from the Bransgrove Vineyard. Limes, white flowers and cut hay; zesty and juicy, long and crisp.
GROWING & MAKING: Semillon grown in the limestone soils of the Bransgrove vineyard. Located close to the coast in northern Margaret River where cooling sea breezes help maintain freshness as the grapes ripen. Hand-picked and gently pressed, this was fermented at a cool temperature in a stainless-steel tank to preserve aromatics and vibrancy. Flavours of lime, white flowers and pea shoots; this is crisp and refreshing. Straight Semillon is stupidly rare in WA, it’s magnificent and we should be embracing it. Fresh and crisp when young, this will age and develop a toasty, honeyed complexity with age.
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
