Single Vineyard Graciano 2023
Graciano is a relatively rarity in Australia, but here it makes something truly delicious. Dark fruits, fine tannin and bright acidity; all wrapped in a layer of seductive, exotic spice.
Growing & Making: Handpicked grapes from the Three Hills vineyard in Karridale. Whole berry ferment, gentle hand-plunging, basket pressed and twelve months in French oak. In its Spanish homeland Graciano traditionally appears in blends, but when presented as a single varietal wine it offers plenty of bright forest fruits, aniseed and clove, along with rich tannins and a round lush finish. This is a unique, but delicious wine, vibrant and fruit forward, but with a savoury sophisticated edge.
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
