GROWING & MAKING: Grapes grown by mate, Gavin McBurney, at his Bobtail vineyard in Frankland River. While not acknowledged by the Margaret River establishment, the warm days and cool nights in Frankland really suit growing Cabernet where concentration and power are accompanied by elegance and fine tannins. Fermented in open vats, gently hand-plunged, basket pressed, and barrel matured. Bursting with blue and black fruits along with a pretty floral lift. Medium bodied and elegant, with fine tannins and long, fine finish. Bright, vibrant and sophisticated.
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
