Equal parts of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro from 3 separate Margaret River vineyards. Forest fruits, hints of spice, bright acidity and maximum slurpability. GSMs are an iconic Aussie blend, and this is little number is a ripper!
GROWING & MAKING: A barrel each of Cowaramup Grenache, Rosa Brook Shiraz and Karridale Mataro. Gentle handling – hand plunging, basket pressing and maturation in seasoned oak – lead to a bright, fruit forward wine. Red fruited juiciness from the Grenache, spice and blue fruits from the Shiraz and an earthy density from the Mataro all work to build complexity. A portion of whole-bunches in the Shiraz ferment adds extra spice. Delicious drinkability we’re proud to offer our Margaret River take on this Australian classic.
