Grown by Mark Moloney at impeccable Geographe vineyard. Bright juicy fruit flavours combine with fine tannin to give this plenty of slurpability. Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about.
GROWING & MAKING: Grapes from Mark and Julie Maloney’s Harvey vineyard. This immaculate, well managed site, on the warmer flats, is suited to producing fresh, fruit driven reds. The berries were destemmed, but not crushed, fermented in open vats, hand plunged, basket pressed and matured in barrel for 14 months. Medium bodied and bright this is all about vibrant fruit flavours, red berries, plums and mulberries along with a pretty floral notes. Labelled as Syrah, rather than Shiraz to reflect the medium bodied, bright floral nature of the wine.
Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
