Verdelho is a beautiful thing; embrace its seductive charms. Mostly cool fermented in tank, with a portion left to ferment on skins to build texture and complexity. Sensual, complex and juicy.

GROWING & MAKING: Verdelho Grown just out of Cowaramup in central Margaret River.  Most of the grapes were pressed and then fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel.  However, a portion was kept with their skins and fermented in open vats. This 15% is basically made like a red which brings tannin, texture and an intriguing spicey note to the wine.  Lush and fruity, with plenty of delicious tropical notes as well as the underlying complexity from the skin contact.  Verdelho is part of our grape growing heritage in WA and should be embraced (it should also be embraced because it’s bloody delicious). 

Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
