Bright, vibrant and juicy. Whole berry ferment and early bottling to try and capture as much yum as possible. Cabernet Franc produces modern, elegant wines that suit modern, elegant drinkers.

GROWING & MAKING:  Grown by Jane and Peter Thompson (with help from my mate Dicko) in their 25-year-old Wilyabrup vineyard.  The grapes were destemmed, but not crushed with the berries left whole for fermentation in an open vat.  Gently hand-plunged, basket pressed and matured in neutral oak.  This is all about bright fruit and vibrancy.  Medium bodied, with cherries, boysenberries and pretty floral nose, this has fine tannins and a long finish.  Super slurpable stuff. 

Unfined, unfiltered; minimal mucking about. Vegan.
